Bio

Javier Henríquez Lara, mexican designer and graphic artist. He majored in design at ITESO, Guadalajara, Mexico (1995 – 2000).

In 1997 he began to collaborate as a designer for different companies, agencies and studios.

Since 2000, Javier has worked as a freelance professional, carrying out projects in different areas of design and providing creative, art direction and design services for different firms and agencies.

From 2003 to 2008 he served as Art Director of an identity agency, leading the efforts of a diversity of international and national brands.

His work and graphic work has been exhibited in various cities in Mexico, North America, Latin America and Europe; he has been published and recognized by major publishers, magazines and specialized digital media, has lectured in various cities in Latin America.

He received the “2012 Guadalajara Design Week Award” for his outstanding professional career in the area of Graphic Design.

In 2012 he was a representative of “Premio Quorum” in the western part of the country and in 2013 he was a judge in the graphic design category for said award, considered the most important recognition within Mexico in the field of design.

He is a professor at ITESO University and was a founding member of Colectivo Hematoma.

He currently runs his own studio specializing in brand identity projects.
